We are very excited to
welcome you to Fashion this week for Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday,
November 17 and Friday, November 18.
Thursday’s conferences will be from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Friday’s conferences will be from 1:00 pm to
3:00 pm. Friday there will be a half day
of school.
As you are planning your schedule for the week I hope you can
attend our November Parents Association meeting this Wednesday, November 17 at
6:00 pm in the school library on the 5th floor. This is a change from our usual location on
the 8th floor. I also want to
let parents know that a Department of Education event will be taking place
throughout the building, so it might be a bit crowded. At this meeting we will have a presenter on
understanding the college application process.
This informational session is for parents of all grades whether you are
the parent of a senior going to college next year or a parent of a 9th,
10th or 11th grader.
Parents can now recreate or sign up for an NYC Schools Account to
access their child’s report card grades, attendance, schedules, health data,
assessment data, and contact information. This information, available in one of
ten languages, can be accessed through any internet-connected device such as a
computer or smartphone by visiting http://mystudent.nyc
Please
call or visit the Main Office, Room 125. Ms. Silva, Assistant Principal of Family
Engagement & Admissions, will be there to assist parents and guardians
to create or re-activate their account. Ms. Silva's contact

Make sure you and your child are
checking Jupiter Grades to know where they stand in their classes. Students should be checking their HSFI email
every day.
